this aint honey?

Driven by hunger, a fox tried to reach some grapes hanging high on the vine but was unable to, although he leaped with all his strength. As he went away, the fox remarked, 'Oh, you aren't even ripe yet! I don't need any sour grapes.' People who speak disparagingly of things that they cannot attain would do well to apply this story to themselves.- Phaedrus IV.3

See, I interpret the story differently. Phaedrus, nor Aesop, were there, nor did they speak Fox. There was a critical mistranslation. I have a couple of furry friends with Ur-Quelle manuscripts, and what the fox ACTUALLY said was,

"Why bother? I'm trying to evolve from an omnivore to a obligate carnivore, because that's how the sea creatures do it, and they seem pretty with it. FUCK THOSE GRAPES! I WANT BLOOD!"

The fox then put Hate Worldwide on and ran down a rabbit who'd gotten fat on ballads and strawberries.

Hello Jesus #1

To sing you must first open your mouth. You must have a pair of lungs, and a little knowledge of music. It is not necessary to have an accordion, or a guitar. The essential thing is to want to sing. This then is a song. I am singing."
Henry Miller
